A tweet from the Florence Y'alls' official account after Friday night's 5-0 loss to the Joliet Slammers got plenty of attention.
The Y'alls tweeted a photo of the Florence Y'all water tower next to the water tower in Joliet, Illinois, with the following caption: "We might’ve lost 5-0 tonight to the @JolietSlammers , but at least we’re not rockin' with a water tower that's all tip no shaft."
The water tower, a landmark in Northern Kentucky, inspired Florence's team in the independent Frontier League to change its nickname from the Freedom to the Y'alls in 2020.
